I've had these boots since 2014 & realized that I needed to write my review after using them for 2 years. I love these boots. They are so comfortable, fit well, keep feet warm & dray, & look cute.I will echo many comments that they fit small. I typically wear a 9.5/10 in shoes & boots. I ordered a 10.5 on the advice of others & they are a perfect fit. I wear them with thin wool socks so I couldn't testify as to how they fit with thicker socks. I live in the southeast so we don't get awful winter weather too often, but we just recently came through an ice/snow storm where I have worn these boots daily with no fit issues. The same goes for a snowstorm we had in 2014, by the way. The grip of the soles on both snow & ice is great as they are cleated. The only drawback to these boots - I wish they were higher. I wear them with black fleece-lined leggings & sweaters or dresses (depending on whether I'm at home or at work). I do also wish they were dressier but I"m thinking I might see if I can't locate a dressier pair with the Omni-Heat warmth. I highly recommend the boots if you are looking for a sturdy, warm boot to take you through snow storms (with the caveat that you may wish to look into higher boots if you are in a super-snowy region.I was tired of clunky heavy winter boots, I clomp around in them with warm feet but can't get traction or steady footing on slippery snow and ice. These are lightweight and fit snug on my foot, almost like a running shoe. They have decent tread but it's the shape of the soles that seems to help the most - I can sort of feel the terrain under my feet. These are lightweight and I wear them for my commute which includes a 15 minute walk in harsh Minnesota winter conditions and these don't slow me down. I have not tried them in wet or sloppy weather, I have rain boots for that purpose. These are toasty warm, actually too warm to leave on indoors. They run small, I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 but I went up to a 9.5 and they fit just right. I have wide calves but the boots are not real tall and there is a notched design which gives some leeway. I hope they last for many seasons.I had took my time researching boots before deciding on this pair. I live in Colorado and walk to work, which is a little over a mile from my home. As per the reviews, I bought a full shoe size larger than normal and I'm glad I did. A size 9 felt like a normal size 8. I was hoping to have a little more room to layer socks, but I quickly got over that as the inside of the boots are so warm and are completely waterproof. I stepped in the largest puddles and snowdrifts to test this out. The only problems I do have are 1. I wish they were a bit taller as some of the snow fell inside the boot as I was testing out the waterproof-ness and 2. There's no arch support. They are comfy and are good for the price, but I wish I could find boots with these two features that doesn't weigh too much for my small frame .If you are looking for really warm boots that are not bulky, these are them. I bought these primarily to walk the dog - I wanted boots that were quick to put on/off, and kept me warm in the Boston winter and these fit the bill. They zip vs tie, and the zipper has a flap of fabric behind it so even if I don't zip it up my feet still stay warm and dry. They aren't completely waterproof so I wouldn't go out and shovel snow in them, but they are fine for walking through snow with the dog. They aren't the best on ice compared to some other boots I own, but they are much more lightweight and easy to put on / off that I don't care. And they are warm - I can wear them without wool socks and my feet stay warm. Great purchase.I bought them for next year so I'm not sure if they will keep my feet or not or if the arch is good for all day walking. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe so I had shipped in one pair a 9 and one pair a 9 1/2. I selected the 9 1/2 . It felt so much better and I can wear my winter heavy socks with them. I liked the height of them over my jeans. I mean the jeans can be push in and not come out when I'm setting in the car and then stand up, or wear outside of the boot, either way, I'm good in the snow and water and my pants won't get wet . Also I like the zipper, but my foot goes in without really using it.Size: As suggested by others I ordered larger size 6.5 (normal dress shoes 5.5 and sneakers size 6) and fit well with normal socks on. The boots are warm for me so no need for thicker socks.Pros: The boots are light and comfortable. The zippers make it easy to slip on. The rubber sole provides good grip on snow and ice than my other shoes which is important to me. I wore them to shovel snow and kept my feet warm and dry. It seems waterproof but I haven't tried them in rain yet.Cons: I find the boot opening a bit too large and its not adjustable. I tuck my pants inside the boots but snow would still collect in the gaps so I recommend pants that would cover the boot opening to prevent snow from getting in.I had read these run small so went 1/2 size up. Wish I would have gone a full size up so that I can wear with much thicker socks. I can wear these comfortably however all day at work and I don't need much arch support but did notice the lack. The traction on these are extremely good, that said there is no shoe sole out there that can take the place of cleats on smooth as silk ice ;) I normally wear 7 1/2 and went with 8. For heavy socks I would have needed 8 /12. I like these enough that I still give them 4 stars as they are what I expected from other reviews and I am fine with the size for now.I had the previous model and wanted to purchase these, mainly for the color. I tend to wear them when walking my dog and they work great in rain and snow and keep my feet warm. These boots aren't made for hiking in or long walks. I usually wear a 6.5 and purchased a 7 due to the previous reviews; they fit perfectly. I have large calves and these actually fit; I can even tuck my pants into them. Therefore, those with average or smaller calves, it may be loose. I don't care for the cut-outs though, as my pants seem to bunch up right at those points. Lastly, be careful, they can be slippery. I recently slipped down my stairs because the bottoms aren't grippy in rain, especially on painted surfaces (crosswalk lines) or smooth concrete (my stairs). The boots I ordered met all my expectations.Bought as Christmas gift. She loves them. Lightweight and comfortable.Very light boots and comfy! Somehow looked longer on the photo than what it actually is. All in all, it's a functional winter bootsSmaller than expected, otherwise fine. I was able to make return with full amount refunded.Very pleased. This is a awesome boot and very comfortable.
