Just used my spaetzle press today for the 1st time!!! What a great kitchen tool. I've used the slide version for a couple of years and it works well too but I have never been pleased with the texture (a little heavy for a soup noodle). I finally decided to spend the extra cash on this version and I'm not looking back. It's worth the money, made in Germany and it washes up wonderfully with just soap and water. The recipe they supply for making spaetzle tell you to make sure the press is cold, then insert the dough & press. I just sprayed with Pam and it worked fine.When I first ordered this from Amazon, the delivery window was anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. I received my press (from Germany) within a week. I don't know if they all come that quick but I was pleasantly surprised.Buy one, you will not be disappointed!!!
