Mega Zorbe Hydrophobic Melamine Foam is an aerospace grade melamine foam with exceptional water-resistance. Mega Zorbe’s open cell material is a good insulator, Class A fire rated, resistant to organic solvents, and lightweight/flexible. Mega Zorbe is used for both acoustical and thermal insulation in aircraft, marine, automotive, and architectural applications.Each sheet is 4 square feet (2’ x 2’ x 1/2” thick).Do not install where compressed or performance is reduced.

IMPROVE SOUND QUALITY – Absorb reverberant noise and improve acoustics with Mega Zorbe hydrophobic melamine foam, a leading Class A fire rated and water repelling sound absorber. Designed for both sound and thermal insulation in cars, trucks, and vans.
HOW TO USE MEGA ZORBE – Install in the door cavity and on the roof above the headliner (easy peel & stick backing). Use with the Damplifier Pro sound deadening mat for car audio, van conversions, and roof insulation upgrades. Should not be compressed or installed on the floor.
ACOUSTIC FOAM – Each 24” x 24” (4 Sq Ft) sheet of open cell foam is ½” thick. Mega Zorbe meets aerospace, transportation, and construction standards for fire, smoke, and toxicity. Acoustic foam is best for absorbing mid-to-high frequencies. Foam won’t block noise, but reduces echo and reverb.
THERMAL INSULATOR – Mega Zorbe is lightweight and flexible automotive insulation (R-value/inch: 4.16) with a 350 °F max temperature. Sheets can be stacked to improve sound and heat insulation properties.
