This tumbler does a nice job and is well-made. The acrylic top is a nice feature (so you can see the tumbling operation without opening the top), but don't over-tighten the wing-nut else you'll risk cracking the top (don't ask me how I know this!). The Auto-Flow drain plug is a wonderful feature that allows you to separate media from casings when done tumbling. This works well. Simply stir the contents with your hand while letting the unit continue to run with the drain plug removed, and within a minute or so (gets noisy as media is emptied!), all media will be separated. When running (and lid secured), the unit is reasonably quiet. Anti-skid feet prevent it from walking as it vibrates. Some users have complained of dust or small particles that leaks from the seal where the bowl sits on the base. I simply took a strip of weather strip adhesive and applied along this seam to prevent any dust or particles from escaping (even without this 'mod', only the most tiny dust-like particles could escape, so it's certainly not something to cause concern).
