Columbia products certainly have my trust now. Went to 80 degrees north and these pants kept me warm and dry the whole time. Beautiful color. Vacuum packs down to small size for packing. Highly recommend. Also purchased Columbia omni-heat jackets as well.I’ll start with my stats. 5’6, 140, waist 30, hips 41. I carry weight in my hips and have a pretty flat stomach. I originally ordered a size medium. I typically wear a size 8 in most pants. In other Columbia pants I wear a size 10 and they are very comfortable. The M was a bit tough to get over my hips. Waist was good. They were definitely snug through the hips and upper thighs. I wasn’t sure if I would have enough mobility when skiing. I took a chance, and they were better than I was expecting. I had no issues skiing. I wore a thin pair of leggings underneath. There would not be room for much more than that. I was super warm the whole time. After this trip, I ordered a large to compare. There was definitely more room through the hip and thigh area with the large. The waist however was ridiculously huge. Even with the Velcro tabs I couldn’t get the waist small enough. When they were fastened all the way , the fabric bunched up a ton on both sides and looked ridiculous. So all that being said, I have decided to keep the medium. And maybe try to lose a few extra pounds ha ha!Bought the blue one in short and it fits great! Kept me pretty warm on the slopes with light thermal tights. If you’re a petite person, these fit way better than the Juniors ones I had to buy before.Purchased a pair for my wife and daughter. They seem like good pants but not sized right. They seem to run very small. Thought we bought my daughters bigger than she needed so she could use them for a few years but they are about right. My wife's were too small and we opted for a different brand.Returned these. Mediums were too tight in thighs, booty area when I walked in them. I didn’t like how they felt constricting. If you are slim below the waist / not too big in butt or hood maybe they will work for you. Other than fit, they seemed like decent quality ski pants at a reasonable price.I was looking for a brighter pair of snow pants for skiing. The color is more of a teal than a bright turquoise. I like the number of pockets front/back/lower leg for stashing tissues, chapstick, etc. I'm 5'7" 150 and between a M and L. Having the velcro tabs to adjust waist is a help, but it does look a bit bulky. Overall I like these. I felt warm... maybe even too warm with the Omni Heat reflective insulation in the pants AND my Omni Heat base layer :)I'm 5'2", 135 lbs. with a smaller waist and larger hips. I typically a size 8 in jeans. I love Columbia clothes, but their sizing seems to be all over the place. I've tried the Saturday trail pants in an 8 and a 10 and both were snug. So I thought I might be a large in the Bugaboo pants - nope. The large swallowed me. So I ordered a medium and it fits much better, although it's a bit of a tug to get them over my hips. The waist fits well, they are just a tad bit snug across the hips and thighs, but I'm keeping them cuz they look good and they are fairly comfortable. Luckily, they are insulated so I don't have to wear much underneath. I'm happy.I forgot that Columbia clothes jump very smallAmazing quality, great material, fits very well. I've always had a lenght issue, but these ones are perfect. Happy with the purchase!I love the Omni-heat technology. It keeps you really warm without all the bulk. These pants are awesome, I use them to roll around in the snow and to go cross country skiing and have never felt cold. There are adjustable tabs on the inside of the waistband to tighten and loosen as needed too. Ample pocket space. Very comfortable! Highly recommend!I live in the prairies of Canada and it gets extremely cold here. Fashion becomes secondary to keeping warm. After losing weight I was looking for a new pair of snow pants. I am only 5'3" and finding a pair for a petite woman was challenging. Petite women are overlooked for all areas of clothing and it is so frustrating. The last pair of snow pants that I had prior to weight loss had an inseam of 32" and I had to spend a ton of money to have them altered. No stores in my city had petite length and wearing youth pants on an adult woman's body often doesn't work outI can't express how happy I am to find these short-length snow pants on Amazon. The small is a bit big in the waist but I just tuck my top layers in and that works fine. These pants are very warm and not bulky. I am extremely happy with this purchase.First pair I bought was Xtra large short ,based on the size chart, had to send back, way too big on waist, mine measures 33"So re ordered large short.I like the inside material ,your long John's, fuzzy pajamas etc don't bunch up and make you cranky.I bought them for work, very cold shop, & hunting season- was very warm season so no answers for how they do in the extreme cold yetThere very light weightI bought a second pair for back up. You know how sometimes you go back in couple of years and the perfect product is discontinued. There a great product, that i don't have to alter to fit short legsI pantaloni da sci sono stupendi, bel materiale, sono morbidi e caldi.
